A first furniture inquiry should be short enough to send and specific enough to begin a useful response. You do not need a completed design brief before contacting the team, but you should identify the decision you need help with.
Start with the practical outline
Give the city, number of homes or rooms, approximate layout and required date. Include your email so the team can respond. If the scope is still being developed, say which details are confirmed and which are estimates.
State whether you need a full package, a replacement item, a quantity plan or delivery support. That helps the team ask the right follow-up question rather than treating every inquiry as the same purchase.
Add a budget in the right form
If you have a planning budget, identify whether it is per unit or for the entire project and which costs it includes. A budget including delivery and assembly is different from an item-only budget.
Do not invent a number merely to complete the form. “Budget to be established after scope” can be a useful starting point when it accurately describes the project. The next step should be a scope or quantity discussion, not an unsupported fixed quote.
Keep sensitive details for the appropriate process
An ordinary inquiry does not need resident names, financial account information, building access codes or identity documents. Use unit references and general access conditions. The supplier can ask for necessary operational detail through the verified project channel later.
If you already have a floor plan or quantity list, mention it and use the agreed submission process. Make clear who may approve an order.
The request form’s delivery confirmation means the sending service accepted the message; it does not mean pricing, stock or an order has been approved. Keep the inquiry reference and expect follow-up to confirm the scope. A small, accurate first brief is more useful than a long form filled with guessed specifications.
